Extremely rude waiter on entering the restaurant who continued to bark orders at staff and told us to sit and wait for a table. We got given a table and then waited for 15 minutes for a menu which was placed on the end of the table by a waiter who then went off. Was not offered drinks etc so we walked out ..was a very traditional setting . Cosy and comfortable seating but tatty interiors..in need of a refurb and for the waiters to be sent on customer service training.
Found this place almost by accident whilst visiting the area and delighted I did. Food was excellent, staff very polite and meal very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
